Q42 long-range, inductive proximity sensor in top-facing and front-facing models requires no correction factor to detect any metal type in applications that require frequent cleaning with chemicals found in food and beverage applications or where the sensor is exposed to wet environments. It has a 50 mm sensing range on all types of metals in ranges -40 to 100 °C.
