OSHA guard safety scale can be used to check the openings in barrier guards during their design, installation and inspection for compliance with table 0-10 of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.217. The scale is 33.5 in. long and includes a maximum permissible opening of 6 in. at distances over 31.5 in.
