Version 1.6 openPowerLink protocol stack contains a demo project for implementation of a PowerLink Slave (Controlled Node) on an Altera FPGA. The stack supports Ethernet controllers with an auto-response feature, enabling a poll-response latency of 1 µs and cycle times as low as 400 µs. It can run targets without operating system (bare-metal targets) and it supports the 2.6.31 Linux kernel, also on x86-64 architectures.
