The MDC series of safe exhaust (dump) valves include Eez-On (soft-start) function for up to Category-2, performance-level c machine-guarding applications. The safety function of the valve is to shut off supply of pneumatic energy and to exhaust any pneumatic energy from downstream of the valve. safe exhaust valve includes the 3/2 normally closed function, single poppet design and 3/8-inch to ¾-inch port options. The MDC1 series valve can be used up to Cat. 1 applications, while the MDC2 series valve can be used up to Cat. 2 applications and is equipped with a pressure sensor that provides feedback to external controls for safe operation. The Eez-On function allows slower buildup of pressure during startup, supplying gradual startup of downstream work elements to help protect employees and equipment. The valves are enhanced with a modular mounting design.
