Creativity Now Packaged in Robotics Kit

Aug. 20, 2012

Children in the Pittsburgh region will be learning about robotics this year with the help of the "Hummingbird" robotics craft kit.

BirdBrain Technologies designed a new program that can teach school children about robotics while they participate in arts and crafts. The "Hummingbird" robotics craft kit allows children to learn about robotics while they make crafts that walk and talk.

The idea to teach children about robotics inthis innovative way comes from from Carnegie Mellon University robotics professor Illah Nourbakhsh and Tom Lauwers.
