Nicholas Alexiades is a global technical and commercial leader for industrial and automotive functional safety and cybersecurity at UL Solutions. He has supported the founding of UL 4600, the Evaluation of Autonomous Vehicles, and the acquisition of kVA. Alexiades is also a member of the SAE working groups for ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 (SOTIF), the On-Road Automated Driving Committee among others. He has supported technical audits to various functional safety and autonomy standards and understands the technical nuance of working directly with OEMs and suppliers. Alexiades brings more than two decades of experience in software and electronic testing and development and graduate education to UL Solutions. Nicholas holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
