Sixth annual list highlights disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs from Tesla, Caterpillar, Fusiform, Hubble, Leka and more.
Forbes has released its sixth annual “30 Under 30” list, featuring what it considers 600 young innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders who are "challenging the conventional wisdom and rewriting the rules for the next generation." Included in the list are 30 honorees for each of the 20 categories that make up the list, which includes manufacturing.
This year, one in every six list members are immigrants, originating from 44 different countries. Additionally, 36 percent of these list members live and work on the East Coast and 39 percent on the West Coast. More than 15,000 online submissions were received, making the lists a 4 percent acceptance rate.
