Koch Pac-Systeme GmbH becomes EtherCAT Technology Group's 4,000th member

Koch Pac-Systeme GmbH were welcomed at the SPS IPC Drives 2016 show in Nuremberg, Germany.

JĂĽrgen Welker (left), Koch Pac-Systeme GmbH; Martin Rostan (right), EtherCAT Technology GroupThe EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) recently reached a membership milestone when Koch Pac-Systeme GmbH joined ETG as its 4,000th member.

The milestone was commemorated at this year’s SPS IPC Drives show in Nuremberg, Germany, which also hosted the debut of the Sercos TSN Demonstrator. Jürgen Welker, divisional director of control systems and service at Koch, represented the company to accept the official membership certificate and accompanying award.

Martin Rostan, executive director of the ETG, presented the award. “Koch Pac-Systeme joining the ETG is evidence of how well accepted EtherCAT P is already as an extension to EtherCAT,” said Rostan.

ETG recently published the initial draft of its EtherCAT P specification documents.
