Murrelektronik GmbH and technology service provider Yacoub Automation GmbH have established a partnership with the aim of increasing the innovative and competitive strength of both companies.

According to Murrelektronik, the collaboration of research and advance engineering will allow Murrelektronik to enhance its competence in key issues relating to Industry 4.0. Time-to-market will be shortened through increased capacities in development. Customers following the idea of implementing solutions on the basis of smart automation will have advance access to products that are capable of improving and optimizing installation concepts. Also, Murrelektronik says, the bundling of core competencies opens up new possibilities for entering new markets.

“Our close cooperation with Yacoub, headquartered near the Fraunhofer Institute campus in Berlin, will strengthen our research and development activities in Germany,” sais Markus Schyboll, chief executive officer of Murrelektronik GmbH.
