POSITAL joins Motion Control & Motor Association (MCMA).

POSITAL-FRABA, a manufacturer of motion sensors for industrial applications, has joined the Motion Control & Motor Association (MCMA), a trade group serving the global motion control and motor industry.

“The MCMA is a great fit for us,” said Christian Fell, head of POSITAL in North America. “Our sensors are widely used in industrial automation and motion control systems and we are very pleased to be participating in a group dedicated to promoting the use of automation technologies. We aim to use the MCMA as a platform for providing support for system integrators with an interest in motion control and motor control technologies.”

Fell will be making a presentation on the use of magnetic encoders in motor controls at the MCMA 2015 Technical Conference in Tampa, Fla., Nov. 3 to 5.

The MCMA was formed in 2015 through the merger of the Motion Control Association (MCA) and the Small Motors Manufacturers Association (SMMA). It is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Mich., and more than 200 members.
