On Saturday April 26th, 31 top high school students from Northeast Ohio will go toe-to-toe with their robot designs at the 4th Annual Alliance for Working Together "RoboBots Competition." This competition is sanctioned by the NRL, or National Robotics League.
Students will form teams under a manufacturing mentor and company to design and build their own 15-lb combat robot that will battle the other teams. The mentors and manufacturing companies hope to show practical applications of STEM in their schools.
The team that wins will take the prize and move on to compete in the Northeast Ohio National Competition hosted by the NTMA at Baldwin Wallace University May 16-17, 2014
