Manufacturers Gain Access to Dedicated Resources for Energy Reduction

A new microsite launched by Mitsubishi Electric Automation (MEA) addresses energy challenges that continue to affect the manufacturing sector.

Facility managers, plant managers, sustainability mangers and others now have access to dedicated resources such as tools, white papers and energy reduction solutions for a variety of industries, including automotive, food and beverage, logistics, material handling, packaging, metal, cement, glass, chemical, paper, data centers, warehouses and other manufacturing or commercial facilities.

"We created this energy microsite to help [those] within the manufacturing sector meet their aggressive energy reduction goals," said Ghulam Khan, senior automation solutions engineer, MEA. "It's also an excellent resource for energy systems integrators and our channel partners who want a one-stop shop for Mitsubishi Electric products and solutions that help manage energy efficiently."

Industry professionals will gain access to energy awareness and challenges; MEA's four-step energy management solution; energy monitoring hardware and software; energy key performance indicators, energy vs. production and environmental dashboards; and will learn how to achieve energy certification goals.

Additional resources include an energy-savings calculator, blog and information on energy utilization in the facility layer, plant floor production equipment and processes.
