Swagelok Announces Acquisition of IPT

New Agreement Allows Swagelok to Broaden Company's Offering of Products, Services for Fluid System Technology Globall

Swagelok's strategy to expand the business's offering of products and services for fluid system technology customers globally is now underway with its recent acquisition of Innovative Pressure Technologies (IPT).

Swagelok, a developer and provider of fluid system solutions, announced that an agreement was met with IPT, a manufacturer of pressure valves, fittings and other fluid control devices, that would allow Swagelok to strengthen its portfolio of ball, needle, check, relief, high-pressure and subsea valve products. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"We are excited to welcome the IPT team to Swagelok," said Arthur Anton, president and chief executive officer, Swagelok. "These products will help meet customer demands for using higher pressures in their applications."

Swagelok supports more than 200 authorized sales and service centers in 57 countries. The company offers manufacturing, research, technical support and distribution facilities support to its worldwide network.
