B&R Industrial Automation Expands Its North American Partner Network With IFP Automation

With IFP Automation on-board, B&R offers sales and engineering support to over 20 locations in North America.

B&R Industrial Automation is expanding its North American partner network with IFP Automation, a sales and engineering team located in Indiana. IFP is a technology supplier specializing in automation and motion control. With the addition of the B&R product line IFP now offers B&R's complete line of electrical automation products in addition to a full array of fluid power offerings.

According to Marc Ostertag, President B&R North America, partnering with IFP Automation in Indiana allows B&R to provide its customers a comprehensive local technology and support team in the Midwest. "We are glad to be adding such an experienced sales team to our partner network," says Ostertag.

IFP's efforts will be focused on OEM machine manufacturers located in Indiana. In addition to offering integrated automation systems, IFP Automation will also provide all necessary services for local customer support and sales. The market in Indiana is focused on the automotive, packaging and medical industries. IFP's core competences are technology application support, value added service programs, and integrated solutions using electrical and fluid power technologies.

IFP Automation has over 35 years of automation experience with over 1,000 customers in Indiana (both end users and OEM's), many of whom will greatly benefit from B&R's advanced technology offerings. IFP has 6 experienced sales engineers based in Indiana, an internal engineering department and 3 technicians in their value add system assembly department.

With IFP Automation on-board, B&R offers sales and engineering support to over 20 locations in North America.
