A wearable computer system from Xybernaut Corp. of Fairfax, Va., has been granted a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office related to a wearable computing system integrated into the collar of a garment. The technology can be worn around the neck and includes components, such as a display, monitor, microphone or headset.Under its patent, the computer components can be extended beyond the confines of the collar and are adjustable around the user’s face. When the components are not in use, they can be retracted back inside the collar and out of the way and/or protected by the collar.According to Steven A.
