Servotecnica ups U.S. operations to accommodate slip-ring customers

Servotecnica, a developer of motion-control, slip-ring and customized mechatronic products, announced expansion of its U.S. operations located in Fair Oaks, California, to support and service its slip-ring customer base.

Servotecnica designs and manufactures slip rings for industries including electronics, medical, robotics and packaging. Servotecnica slip rings are available in thousands of configurations as standard with sizes ranging from 12.4 mm outer diameter to models with a 100 mm through-hole.

The company also develops customer-specific products ranging from modifications to the slip ring’s electrical specifications, mechanical bounds, cables and connectors to complete integrated rotary joints incorporating encoders and other components.

“For over 40 years, engineer-to-engineer collaboration has been a key pillar in our offering when working with customers to develop solutions for mission-critical applications,” said Fabio Bistoletti, CEO of Servotecnica. “As we continue to achieve sustained growth in the USA, it is important that we also expand our feet on the ground in this territory.”
