Bachmann electronic expands into Scandinavia

The Austrian company Bachmann electronic, which specializes in automation technology for renewable energies and industry, is expanding its international footprint with a new branch in Norway. The office is located in the Norwegian capital of Oslo, in the Helsfyr district. Jonas Helness, an experienced sales engineer and account manager, will act as office manager and key account manager for Norway.

Bachmann has been operating in Norway since 2014. The move toward sustainable products and innovation is also leading to a growing demand for programmable logic controllers (PLCs). These factors make Norway an important market for Bachmann electronic.

Helness, the new office manager, already has experience in the industry. He previously worked at Autic Systems and Siemens, where he was a sales engineer and account manager, as well as a key account manager. Helness is convinced that Bachmann electronic stands out due to its high-quality products and excellent support. “I was impressed by the positive and open culture within the company,” he says. “The people at Bachmann are approachable, cheerful, and direct in their communication. That's important for me to be successful in sales and feel comfortable in my professional life.”

Helness plans to build strong and lasting relationships with Bachmann customers, with the aim of achieving 30% annual growth in the first five years. “I am convinced that our products and solutions meet the needs of Norwegian customers,” he says.

The new office in Oslo is initially staffed with three employees, including two engineers and Helness as key account manager and office manager. Two more employees are to be added over the next few years.
