Yokogawa Electric acquires Web Synergies

The two companies have collaborated since 2021 on digital transformation products

Yokogawa Electric Corporation has finalized an agreement to acquire Singapore-based Web Synergies. For more than a decade, the two companies have collaborated on products and services for internal and external digital transformation (DX). This acquisition will enable Yokogawa to strengthen its digital transformation-related business for the delivery of cloud services, enterprise data management and integration services, and IT/OT security products. The purchase process is expected to be completed by May 2025.

Established in 1998, Web Synergies is business software provider of information technology (IT) and integrated IT and operational technology (OT) products. From its headquarters in Singapore, Web Synergies oversees its operations in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Tokyo, Dubai, Houston, and Ho Chi Minh City. Yokogawa originally invested in Web Synergies in October 2021.
