Tavoron acquires Michigan-based automation distributor

North American distributor adds DP Technologies Group and DP Brown of Saginaw

Tavoron, North American automation, robotics, compressed air and integrated industrial distributor, acquired DP Technologies Group and DP Brown of Saginaw, providers of electrical and mechanical motion control systems headquartered in Saginaw, Michigan.

Founded in 1894, DP Technologies Group and DP Brown of Saginaw specializes in complete electrical and mechanical motion control for automotive, food processing, material handling and general industrial applications. The automation distributor offers drives, linear motion technologies, motors, gear reducers, couplings, sensors, encoders, motion control systems, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), industrial electronics and belts. DP Technologies Group and DP Brown of Saginaw also provide engineering support, in-house panel building, programming expertise and on-site application consultation from its locations in Saginaw and Sterling Heights, Michigan.

The acquisition expands Tavoron’s geographic footprint in the Midwest, designed to strengthen its automation and motion control portfolio and enhance its ability to support customers.

DP Technologies Group and DP Brown of Saginaw will continue operating from the existing locations in Saginaw and will go to market as Tavoron – DP Technologies Group and Tavoron – DP Brown of Saginaw.
