The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) has elected Chris Zuzick as its 2026 chair of the board. Zuzick is the vice president of Waukesha Metal Products in Sussex, Wisconsin (Figure 1). Brian Murphy, president of Eagle Metals in Leesport, Pennsylvania, will serve as vice chair and treasurer. Both Zuzick and Murphy will serve one-year terms.

Zuzick succeeds outgoing PMA Board Chair Gene Lambert, vice president of sales of Indiana-based Batesville Tool & Die.

“I’d like to thank Gene Lambert for his leadership over the past year,” said Zuzick. “Building on a multi-year strategy launched by 2024 Board Chair Gregg Boucher, Gene helped lay the groundwork for several important initiatives that will continue to strengthen PMA and the metalforming industry.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as PMA’s chair and to work alongside so many dedicated leaders across our industry,” Zuzick continued. “PMA plays a vital role in supporting metalforming companies across North America and during the coming year we will continue advancing initiatives focused on our members’ workforce. By increasing member participation and investing in workforce development, we can help ensure the long-term strength and competitiveness of our industry.”

During his term, Zuzick plans to emphasize PMA’s mission to serve its members and help shape the future of manufacturing by strengthening workforce development programs, expanding member engagement and advancing long-term leadership succession planning.

Referencing a philosophy attributed to Abraham Lincoln, Zuzick said, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” He added, “PMA has the ability to be a driving force for innovation and collaboration in the metalforming industry. By listening to our members and helping remove barriers to success, we can continue building a stronger community and a stronger industry.”

The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) is the full-service trade association representing the $137 billion metalforming industry of North America—the industry that creates precision metal products using stamping, fabricating, spinning, slide forming and roll forming technologies.
