Sonepar acquires Eosys
Sonepar acquired Eosys, an industrial automation provider, expanding its ability to serve the increasing needs of a broad range of industrial customers. Eosys’ engineering-led perspective will help Sonepar build the operational, technical and delivery disciplines required to support more complex solutions at scale.
Eosys is one of Rockwell Automation's inaugural U.S.-based Platinum Systems Integrator Partners and was named the 2025 Integrator Member of the Year by the Control System Integrators Association.
“Sonepar continuously makes investments to support customers as their needs evolve,” said Rob Taylor, president, Sonepar Americas. “Eosys will enable us to deliver a better customer experience by adding specialized capabilities that complement our current industrial services offerings like panel design and assembly, power substation engineering and distribution, and switchgear panel assembly. We’re pleased to welcome Eosys to the Sonepar network.”
Founded in 1991, Eosys helps manufacturers automate, connect and modernize operations across a wide range of industries. With headquarters in Smyrna, Tennessee, Eosys has offices across the United States.
“For more than three decades, Eosys has focused on earning our customers’ trust and building partnerships that last,” said David Lax, president of Eosys. “Sonepar shares those values. I’m excited about the opportunities this creates for our employees, our customers, and the future.”
Sonepar is an independent family-owned electrical equipment distributor. Present in 40 countries, Sonepar has 46,000 associates. It entered the United States in 1998 and serves the market through a network of companies with more than 571 locations nationwide and 12,700 associates.
