Know a girl with a curiosity in engineering? Help spark her interest with the 11th annual Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day hosted by Siemens.

Siemens is extending an invitation to students grades 5-12 for the eleventh annual Introduce a Girl to Engineering event at its West Chicago facility 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015.

During the event, students will learn how creative and collaborative engineering is and how engineers can improve the world and quality of life for all. Throughout the day, attendees will tour the Siemens factory, take part in challenging experiments, interview women engineers and more. Snacks will also be served.

Anyone interested should RSVP to [email protected] with the number of students in his or her party. Chaperones are also welcome to attend. Space is limited and will be filled by the first to respond.

There is no cost to attend this event.

The Siemans factory is located at 1500 West Harvestor Road, West Chicago, Ill., 60185.
