New ARC Advisory Group research on the global pressure transmitter market indicates that one of the trends driving the market is the demand for wireless pressure transmitters. According to the research, new installations of such transmitters are becoming ubiquitous.

According to P. Vidya, analyst at ARC and key author of ARC’s Pressure Transmitter Global Market Research report, wireless transmitters can be installed in remote locations and typically offer lower installation costs by eliminating wiring runs. ARC expects the market share to grow sharply over the next three to five years. Battery-operated transmitters, which often accompany wireless installations, are also growing in popularity.
