Gray Solutions, winner of two category awards at Rockwell Automation’s PartnerNetwork Conference earlier this year in Los Angeles, specializes in control-system consulting, design and integration.

The global system integrator, headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, and known for its 275 “solutioneer” staff members, will exhibit its proficiency with automation and control-system upgrades at Automation Fair 2023 in Boston, November 6-9.

Gray Solutions, which was founded five years ago, is a member of the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA). The CSIA-certified company received the System Integrator Partner of the Year Award and the Partner Ecosystem Award at the second annual Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork Awards.

“Gray Solutions was honored to be a multi-award winner at the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork event,” says Walker Mattox, founder and CEO of Gray Solutions. “We were named the 2023 System Integrator Partner of the Year and won the 2023 Partner Ecosystem Award for ‘Easing the pain of ATEX hazardous area compliance using pre-certified components and enclosures,’ a project that included Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED), Endress+Hauser, Mettler Toledo, SMC and Pepper+Fuchs.”

Gray Solutions’ main strength in the automation sector boils down to one simple word, says Mattox. “Curiosity,” he explains. “Solutioneers are always curious. How can we do better? What new technology could this customer use? How can we improve our customers' experience? This curiosity, coupled with an outcome-focused approach, enables us to cut through the noise and deliver for our customers.”

Being able to deliver on that promise involves deepening its expertise with core partners while expanding with them to meet rapidly evolving customer demand, explains Mattox. “We have a dedicated Innovation Team that is constantly looking at our ability to deliver the best solutions, while maintaining excellence in delivery,” he notes.

“Our partnership with Rockwell truly unlocks our ability to deliver projects more efficiently and keep an eye on outcomes,” explains Mattox. “We understand each other and are able to support our goals by sharing more information and deeply collaborating to bring value to our customers. The true value is a fair partnership, one where Rockwell understands us, we understand them, and we work together to help our customers. We are incredibly proud to be recognized by Rockwell Automation."

When you combine Rockwell Automation’s global capabilities and transformative solutions with Gray Solutions’ team of experienced, customer-centric, curious solutioneers, the real winners are the customers, says Mattox. “That’s what I’m most excited about,” he explains.
