Synerlink names Aurore Vanappelghem project director

Synerlink, a Barry-Wehmiller Packaging Systems companyappointed Aurore Vanappelghem as project director. In her new role, Vanappelghem leads Synerlink’s project management team and is responsible for evolving the company’s abilities to manage food-filling and -packaging equipment projects in a timely, cost-effective manner.

Vanappelghem brings more than 25 years of project team leadership experience to Synerlink. Prior to joining Synerlink, she spent 22 years in various roles at Autoliv, a Swedish-American automotive safety supplier. With experience in several functions—including research and development, purchasing, cost optimization and performance quality—Vanappelghem brings a vast and valuable perspective to Synerlink’s project management team.

“I am excited that Aurore has joined our leadership team,” Synerlink president François Truffier said. “Over the last three years, Synerlink has invested significant resources to ensure our customers’ projects are delivered on time and with a commitment to performance and quality. With her experience, Aurore will be instrumental to Synerlink as we continue to improve on this commitment.”

As project director, Vanappelghem not only leads Synerlink’s growing team of project managers, but she also works to develop and maintain project management tools, safeguard the company’s project portfolio and network with customers. Vanappelghem accepted the role in September 2021.
