The IDM is a two- or four-axis EtherCAT DS402 universal servo drive featuring control algorithms and processing technologies designed to enhance the performance of high-precision motion stages. Certified as EtherCAT Conformance tested, the intelligent drive module provides up to 5 A continuous and 10 A peak per axis with 12- to 48-Vdc drive supply. Features include tuning and performance analysis software tools for stage performance optimization, advanced servo control algorithms for gantries and other multi-axis stage configurations, intuitive ACSPL+ real-time programming with as many as four simultaneous threads for application flexibility and integral safe torque off (STO) and SS1 functional safety capabilities.
