Carlo Gavazzi RGC2 and RGC3 series solid-state contactors can replace mechanical contactors, especially when frequent switching is required. Capable of handling resistive and slightly inductive loads, the contactors are certified for motor switching with applicable motor load ratings. RGC2 models are designed for two-pole, three-phase ac switching, while RGC3 models are built for three-pole, three-phase operation. Ranging from 54 to 72 mm wide, most models are DIN-mountable with an integrated heat-sink.
