Carlo Gavazzi Single-phase solid-state soft starters

The RGTS series single-phase motor soft starters can control 120- or 240-Vac induction motors up to 25 A/3hp. The series is a fully solid-state solution. Wire bonding technology reduces the thermal and mechanical stresses of the output chips. It requires just two user adjustments: the motor ramp-up time and initial torque, which can be adjusted independently via the built-in potentiometers. The green LED light indicates the supply voltage presence. The ramp-up and full-voltage indication are provided through an orange LED light. The starter does not require a dedicated control signal, so less wiring is involved.
