RunMyRobot technology facilitates high-speed workpiece and tool handling. Operation, retraction, teach-in and diagnostics can be achieved from the Sinumerik 840D sl operator panel, which increases a machine tool’s efficiency and flexibility. The robot can be added to handle part loading and unloading. Just like every other unit at the machine, it can be operated from the Sinumerik Operate GUI. The technology simplifies machine viewing, including robots; programming and operation; and diagnostics and display of robot messages. This robot solution is scalable—from automation of individual production islands to a completely networked system.
