Wieland’s samos Pro Motion is a compact, programmable and modular safety controller for safe monitoring of speed, position and direction of rotation. It features up to 24 I/Os (16 safe inputs, four safe outputs, four configurable) and supports Profinet I/O, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP. Functions like standstill, SLS, SSR, SMS, SDI and SLP per EN 61800-5-2 are programmed using the license-free samos PLAN6 software. Integrated communication is designed to enable seamless transmission of motion data to higher-level controllers, HMIs and IIoT platforms, ensuring safe, intuitive and scalable motion control for a wide range of automation applications.
