RV series rotary position sensors measure and provide feedback on the rotary displacement of rotating elements in industrial benchtop and test and measurement applications. While featuring a full 360° mechanical range, these rotary variable differential transformers (RVDTs) provide an output proportional to shaft rotation over a range of ±30° or more in some cases. The noncontacting RVDTs offer long mechanical life and eliminate internal components that might wear or degrade over time. The series offers ac operation for greater tolerance in harsh environments and an operating temperature range of -65 to 221 °F (-55 to 105 °C).
