The R2300 multilayer scanner offers 3-D object detection and high measurement density and is designed for optical angle and distance measurement in stationary and mobile applications. The housing contains high-precision light detection and ranging (LiDAR) laser measurement technology, which can detect and measure the length, width and height of objects. It uses four slightly offset scan planes, generated by a rotating mirror inside the sensor housing, to perform noncontact 3-D scanning of its surroundings. The device has a measuring range opening angle of 100° and a measuring range of up to 10 m on bright objects and up to 4 m on dark surfaces.
