The PD30 photoelectric sensor series with IO-Link offers endless configurations, preventive maintenance capabilities and special application function. Four special application functions are pre-programmed into these sensors: speed and length, pattern recognition, divider/counter and object and gap monitoring. Each has been developed to optimize common industry applications through design simplification, flexible configurations and ease of maintenance and troubleshooting. An IO-Link configurator is required to change sensor settings during initial installation. However, the application functions can be used even without an IO-Link operating environment. The series can be used wherever customers are on their IIoT journey, equipping them to be ready for future automation advances.
