The Q45VA wireless vibration sensor combines a vibration sensor, wireless node and battery power supply in a wireless device for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. The device can be used to identify equipment problems before a failure occurs. The sensor has a compact, all-in-one design that makes it easy to monitor any asset with rotating motion for a variety of vibration characteristics and send that information to a wireless gateway. Using a proprietary machine-learning algorithm, condition monitoring solutions collect data from the sensor to establish a machine’s vibration baseline and set warning and alarm thresholds automatically.
