The BOD 37M family of long-distance high-resolution photoelectric measuring sensors offers configuration via integrated push buttons for teachable set-points, hysteresis and response time. Using time-of-flight measurement technology, the sensor is tolerant of difficult-to-target surfaces and materials. It has a sensing range to 20 m and a resolution of 1 mm. The universal version has an integrated display that shows the distance in millimeters. The standard version is available in either voltage or current analog output, while the universal version has both analog outputs, RS-485 and two configurable discrete outputs.
