Electrocomponents names new Allied Electronics president

Steve Newland will join Electrocomponents in February and will report directly to CEO Lindsley Ruth.

Oxford, England-based electronics distributor Electrocomponents plc has appointmented Steve Newland as president of Allied Electronics, Electrocomponents' operations in North America. He will join the company in February as a member of the executive management team and will report to CEO Lindsley Ruth.
According to a Electrocomponents, Newland will be responsible for driving growth in the Americas. He brings more than 30 years of experience as a senior sales and operations executive, the last six of which he spent at Mouser Electronics as a senior vice president.
