Mersen to Host Flex Technology Seminar

March 7, 2014
Exhibitor Seminar 2014 APEC Conference and Exhibition Discusses Bus Bar Technology

Mersen has developed a new "Flex Technology" solution for challenges faced in hybrid/electric vehicles, traction and energy markets.

Tom Giuliano, solutions engineer for Mersen, will present Mersen's latest flexible bus technology at the 2014 APEC Conference and Exposition, March 16-20 in Forth Worth, Texas.

The technology provides a single, low-maintenance handled wire or individual alloy piece with installation orientation for multiple interconnected terminals of varied heights to a plane. The bus integrates with smart systems for signal response on power and thermal sensing, according to Mersen.

Mersen also offers a power electronic bundling solution comprised of fast a-acting fuses and electrical protection devices, a laminated bus bar and cooling system to help maximize system performance, lower total costs and reduce time to market.
