The SDAT-MHS T-slot-programmable position transmitter offers OEMs a flexible means of sensing the position of pneumatic cylinders. By sensing the magnetic piston, cylinder position can be transmitted to the PLC with repetition accuracy of 0.1mm. The sensor’s five sizes correspond to the most commonly used strokes of the company’s pneumatic cylinders. The device detects complete strokes without projecting beyond the end of the cylinder, including full stroke length and end-position sensing. In addition to analog position data, it also features a programmable digital switching output that can replace an existing cylinder switch.
