The Optimized Motion Series (OMS) combines linear and rotary electromechanical actuators, motors, drives, cables and mounting hardware with fast and easy specification, assembly and configuration. OMS axes are targeted toward lightweight assembly, laboratory automation, packaging and other applications in which the loads and speeds are moderate. Typically, the mass to be moved is under 25 lb, linear speeds are less than 12 in/s, and rotary speeds are less than 100 rotations/min. Higher loads and speeds are possible. Electrical axes in the OMS product range also can be mounted together to create gantries with one, two and three directions of motion.
