VTScada’s architecture integrates core SCADA components into one package. Augmented tools in version 11.2 are designed to help users enact the best practices laid out in the ISA 18.2 Alarm Management Standard. The Alarm Manager allows users to identify the status and priority of each alarm instantly and add text, symbols, color and sound to alarms to meet the visual needs of a team (for example, employees with color vision deficiency). Operators can add context to alarms using encrypted operator notes. Users also can configure multiple alarm databases to segregate plants and processes for faster alarm processing within each segment.
