Wieland Electric Controller with safe speed monitoring

The samos Pro Compact Plus safety controller includes expanded industrial communication protocols with Ethernet/IP and EtherCAT. It also offers extended functionality for safe speed monitoring and press applications. The safe-speed function block can be used to monitor standstill and safe operation speeds, which is useful in setup modes. Multiple instances of the function block can be used to monitor various threshold speeds and act accordingly. Six industrial press function control blocks have been added to the function block library. They allow for press contact monitoring and for basic mode control of the press during setup mode, single-stroke mode, automatic mode and cyclic mode.
