Three automation libraries are available to help simplify interfacing Lexium MDrive integrated motors with PACs and PLCs from Siemens, Rockwell Automation and Schneider Electric. The library add-on instructions (AOI) for motion control reduce the work of writing software programs to execute move profiles such as relative and absolute moves, jogging, homing, read inputs and write outputs. They are applicable for communications between Ethernet TCP/IP Lexium MDrive products and Rockwell RSLogix 5000, Siemens S7 series and Schneider SoMachine and SoMachine Motion.
