An equivalent to the MIL-Spec 5015 connector series has been designed for rugged industrial applications. The circular connectors include completely overmolded cordsets and prewired and epoxied panel mount receptacles. This plug-and-play design simplifies installation for users and eliminates the risk of wiring the connector incorrectly. Users no longer have to assemble the connectors or solder unless they prefer the field-installable version. The standard connectors are provided with the familiar North American color codes recognized in the industrial market, but customer-specific cables and color codes are available on request. These connectors use threaded couplings to mate and provide IP67 protection.
