Mersen’s Surge-Trap Type 1 STXR series offers a compact design and line or load installation flexibility. The one-piece device requires no assembly and can be used at the machine or the main panel to protect equipment from downtime and damage associated with power spikes and surges. Available in 120-600 Vac models and a 200 kA short-circuit current rating, these devices are suitable for use in ANSI/UL Type 1 or 2 SPD installations, such as ac distribution, power supplies, drive protection, fire alarms and control panels. Designed with Mersen TPMOV technology, the series provides up to seven modes of protection.
