The Omron Zen compact controller can be used to automate small-scale applications. Version 2 includes economy-type CPUs and communications-type CPU. Twin timer operation and operation between days for weekly timers have been added. Pulse output operation and eight-digit counters with high-speed counting also have been added, and expansion I/O units have been downsized to half the width.
