The Model 7905 digital static meter is a handheld tool for measuring and identifying sources of static in manufacturing processes. With the press of a button, it will help pinpoint the highest voltage problem areas in a facility. This sensitive and responsive product indicates surface voltage and polarity on objects up to ±20 kV from 1 in (25 mm) away. After zeroing the meter, users move it to within 1 in of a problem surface for an LED illuminated reading of the static voltage. It includes a National Institute of Standards and Technology certification for accuracy.
