Siemens Simatic failsafe CPU 1504D TF and CPU 1507D TF controllers are equipped with an integrated drive control unit based on the Sinamics S120 drive system. The controllers integrate motion control, technology and PLC functionalities directly in the modular multiaxis drive system without requiring additional control cabinet space. The installation and wiring effort is reduced due to the integration of the controller and drive control unit in one device. Data management for the unit is performed centrally on a Simatic memory card. Users can configure the controllers and connect them to other devices through Siemens’ TIA Portal integrated automation suite.
