VTScada simplifies replacing aging SCADA software by allowing users to retain a complete view of their process history. This utility imports historical data from applications based on other brands of SCADA software. Users export the data from the outgoing application to a .csv file, format the file as described in the Help files and drop it into the VTScada root folder. The Historian imports the data on restart or when triggered by the Source Debugger. No user interface is required. The utility converts I/O databases and communicates with existing PLCs and RTUs. This integrated design means that all core features can be upgraded indefinitely in lockstep.
