Vert-X 31E rotary angle sensors are touchless magnetic angle sensors with a permanent magnet that can be secured to an application’s rotating shaft, so that there is no direct mechanical linkage between the shaft and the measuring system and therefore no wear. The series includes basic connect and done models and programmable models. The latter models are programmed through a programming device connected between the sensor and a computer’s USB port and EasyAdapt software that runs on Windows PCs. Users can select from six default set-ups or use one as a starting point and customize it. Output characteristics also can be programmed.
