Rockwell Automation Off-chassis data collection

The FactoryTalk Historian Machine Edition (ME) v3.5 module enables off-chassis data collection from a modular historian
Aug. 10, 2015

The FactoryTalk Historian Machine Edition (ME) v3.5 module enables off-chassis data collection from a modular historian. This release allows operators using Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers to collect data from controllers and devices connected via the Ethernet network. It is suitable for critical operations that require data collection in remote or hazardous locations and when speed and reliability are crucial. An auto-discover feature allows the module to recognize controllers without additional or custom coding. This update also provides security hardening using a self-signed SSL certificate out-of-box.
